Job Description
Due Bills Consulting is looking for a legal professional who has been formally recognized (admitted) to practice law by a bar or law society in their jurisdiction.
Responsibilities of an Admitted Attorney
Interpret and apply relevant laws, regulations, and case precedents.
Represent clients in court, arbitration, mediation, or before administrative bodies.
Prepare clients for court appearances and advise on legal strategy.
Draft legal documents such as contracts, affidavits, pleadings, and agreements.
Review and interpret complex documents to ensure legal compliance.
Initiate or defend lawsuits on behalf of clients.
Conduct legal research and present arguments in court.
Negotiate settlements or contracts on behalf of clients.
Work toward resolving disputes efficiently and in the client's best interest.
Maintain strict client confidentiality and uphold professional ethics as outlined by legal regulatory bodies.
Qualifications and Requirements
LLB
from an accredited institution. Completion ofarticles of clerkship
,pupillage
, or alegal internship
under a licensed attorney. Pass abar exam
,board exam
, or equivalent professional assessment. Formallyadmitted to the bar
orlegal society
by a court or governing body. Often requires a formal application, proof of good character, and an oath of office. Must completecontinuing legal education (CLE)
to stay up-to-date with legal developments.Core Skills
