The duties of the SU-UIC administrator will include the following:
Administration related to UIC committees, external moderators and specialists.
Administrative support related to the quality assurance functions and services.
Compiling and collating documentation and assistance with logistics related to meetings, workshops and training.
Supporting the UIC's reputation and public perception building by creating and maintaining logos, documents, templates, flyers, website and online forms in line with SU and UIC branding.
Administration related to training courses facilitated by the SU-UIC.
Job Requirements/Pos Vereistes Diploma (NQF level 6).
Three years' proven work experience in higher education administration, or legal or policy environment.
Knowledge of university contexts and systems.
Very strong administrative skills and the ability to work under pressure.
Competent in organising and working in online environment and online meetings.
Self-motivated with the ability to problem solve, multi-task, and prioritisation of tasks.
Proven ability to work in teams whileadheringe to deadlines.
Excellent verbal and written skills in English.
Proficient verbal and reading skills in Afrikaans.
Computer skills in MS Office, Word and proven proficiency in Excel, MS Teams, and database handling.
Dynamic interpersonal and cross-cultural competencies with self-confidence to engage with people across cultures at all levels.
Availability after office-hours during high volume periods.
Recommendation/Aanbeveling Bachelor's qualification.
Knowledge of school leaving examination systems and processes related to quality assurance.
Proficient verbal and reading skills in Afrikaans.
Experience with university systems (financial and HR systems).
Experience in event planning, management and execution.
