Administrator – Highlands North Commercial Kitchen

Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Administrator to join our team at our Highlands North commercial kitchen. This role is central to keeping our operations running smoothly, ensuring compliance, and supporting the branch manager and operations team with day-to-day tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure all staff sign their timesheets daily, check accuracy, and submit to payroll.

Oversee onboarding of new staff members, ensuring all documents are completed and submitted to payroll.

Receive, check, and sign for all deliveries to the kitchen.

Handle procurement and ensure all supplier documents and purchase slips are captured and submitted to finance.

Complete and submit lease, contract, and compliance documents as instructed.

Review vehicle tracker reports and highlight inconsistencies.

Conduct regular equipment inventories and report on discrepancies.

Liaise with relevant regulatory bodies for certifications and compliance requirements.

Check and sign for vehicle deliveries.

Assist the Head Chef with stock takes, ensuring records are documented and saved.

Provide general administrative and operational support as instructed by the Branch Manager or Operations Team.

Requirements:

Proven experience in administration, preferably in hospitality, catering, or a similar fast-paced environment.

Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

Fluent in English (first language preferred).

Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with staff, suppliers, and external bodies.

Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfortable with digital record-keeping.

Valid driver's license and own reliable transport (non-negotiable).

Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently.
