Position: Administrative Assistant (Data Analysis)

Primary Accountability
Conduct in-depth market and development research to identify viable real estate opportunities in the UK, produce data-driven insights, and prepare compelling reports and presentations to inform investment decisions and support strategic growth.
Core Mandate
Deliver high-quality research, analysis, and reporting to guide investment and development strategies, enabling data-backed decisions, mitigating risks, and advancing the company's growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Market Research & Data Collection
Monitor UK real estate market trends, including demographics, housing demand, pricing, and planning updates
Identify emerging development hotspots and supply-demand gaps
Gather quantitative and qualitative data from public and proprietary sources
2. Opportunity Evaluation
Locate, compile, and organize data related to opportunities in a structured manner
Analyze land and property opportunities using financial and qualitative metrics
Prepare SWOT assessments and competitive analyses for proposed developments
Support feasibility reviews in collaboration with the Director and Development Manager
3. Financial Modelling & Scenario Planning
Build Excel-based development models and perform sensitivity analyses
Support deal underwriting, yield projections, and ROI forecasts
Contribute to acquisition and exit scenario planning with appropriate risk assumptions
4. Reporting & Presentations
Prepare investor-ready presentations using PowerPoint with clear visual storytelling
Produce location summaries, scheme highlights, and investment rationale
Develop templated outputs for consistency across project pipelines
5. Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication
Maintain regular updates with project leads on analysis progress
Translate analytical findings into practical recommendations using the pyramid principle
Assist in responding to ad-hoc data requests from investors, lenders, or senior team
6. Knowledge Management, Tools & Compliance
Maintain a research database and track key indicators over time
Ensure all models and reports are properly stored and versioned (SharePoint/Drive)
Recommend improvements to templates, models, and processes for consistency
Maintain and update the Insurance Tracker to ensure all policies are current and accessible

Opportunity Screening Minimum of 5 development opportunities assessed and reviewed per week
Modelling Accuracy Financial models reviewed with <5% variance from final approved assumptions
Reporting Timeliness Investor/board-ready decks completed within 72 hours of request
Ad-Hoc Responsiveness Ad-hoc data requests addressed within 24 hours
Collaboration & Feedback 90%+ positive internal feedback on clarity and utility of research insights
Knowledge Systems 100% of models and outputs archived and indexed in shared directory
Insurance Compliance Tracker updated within 24 hours of receiving new or revised policies
