Benefits: As per company policyJob PurposeThe Administrative and Office Support Officer will play a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across various departments. This role involves managing communication, coordinating logistics, maintaining office systems, and supporting HR and administrative functions.Key ResponsibilitiesHandle incoming calls, emails, and other communications professionally and efficiently.Draft, format, and proofread business correspondence, reports, and presentations.Maintain and update company databases, records, and both digital and paper filing systems.Coordinate travel, visa applications, and accommodation for management and visitors.Assist with HR administrative tasks including onboarding, leave tracking, and maintaining personnel records.Monitor and manage office supplies inventory and place orders as needed.Liaise with service providers, landlords, and vendors to ensure uninterrupted office operations.Support the planning and organization of internal and external events, workshops, and staff functions.Maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion with sensitive information.Perform general administrative duties and ad-hoc tasks as directed by management.Qualifications and SkillsDiploma or Certificate in Office Administration, Business Administration, or Secretarial Studies.24 years experience in a similar administrative or secretarial role.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.Excellent organizational and time-management skills.Professional demeanor with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and work effectively under pressure.High attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.Familiarity with South African business protocols and compliance is an advantage.Preferred AttributesExperience providing support to senior executives or across multiple departments.Basic understanding of accounting or procurement processes.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Strong interpersonal skills and a service-oriented mindset.
