Admin Officer 1 -Cape Town
The TES employee(s) will be responsible for the following function / work:
1. Liaising with Project Managers and other internal stakeholders regarding GRNing of vendor invoices.
2. Attend to Accounts Payable queries and ensuring that no invoices, as far as possible, ever go beyond 30 days before being paid.
3. Allocation of RGS forms, and related procurement documentation to team, for processing; assessing compliance of purchases with tender specifications.
4. Compiling of RFQ applications for non-tender related purchases
5. Updating of procurement records, including verification of fuel claims and uploading these on SAP.
6. Liaising with the Citys Supply Chain Management department to expedite SAP purchase orders
7. Creation of SAP work orders, reservations; requisitions where necessary;
8. Act as stand-in for Admin Officer supervisor; and provide guidance on some of the day-to-day operations at the Telecoms Store.
The TES employee(s) must meet the following requirements:
Qualification: Grade 12, competency in use of SAP Procurement modules
Experience: More than 6 years using SAP Procurement modules, also experience in contract and tender administration
Other skills /requirements (Specify)
1. Good communication skills (written and oral)
2. Strong computer literacy, MS Word, MS Excel Skills
3. Ability to work in a team independently in a supervised environment; Strong Supply Chain Management environment experience.
