Actuarial Manager
Job Description
We have an amazing opportunity for an Actuarial Manager at a financial services company based in Johannesburg! The main purpose of this role is:
- To use data analytics to improve business processes, identify product opportunities, and ensure accurate and actuarially sound product implementation.
We require a candidate with:
Qualified Fellow Actuary
MS Excel Proficient
Database experience (SQL)
Must have experience with statistical software (R and/or Python)
Programming experience and understanding. (e.g. VBA)
Advantageous
Industry experience applying ML/ regression models in analytics
Previous systems work or software testing/ coding experience
Invest and/or Life insurance 3 10 years industry experience
