Activations/ Marketing Intern - jhbFull job descriptionLocation: Sandringham JohannesburgPosition Type: Fixed TermPurpose of the JobTo assist the Fundraising and Activations department with marketing and events coordination.Role and ResponsibilitiesCollect quantitative and qualitative data from marketing campaignsPerform market analysis and research on competitionSupport the marketing team in daily administrative tasksAssist in marketing and advertising promotional activities (e.g. social media, direct mail and web)Prepare promotional presentationsHelp distribute marketing materialsManage and update company database and customer relationship management systems (CRM)Help organize marketing eventCalling for event RSVPsNumerous admin and logistic dutiesAssembling and packing, name badges, gifts and giveawaysQualifications and Education RequirementsGrade 12Completed Diploma in Office Administration/Marketing Preferred SkillsCreative mindSolid understanding of different marketing techniquesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent knowledge of MS OfficeFamiliarity with marketing computer software and online applications (e.g. CRM tools,)Passion for the marketing industry and its best practicesknowledge of purchasing market material
