A well-established company is hiring an Accounts Payable Clerk to assist in processing supplier transactions accurately and on time. If you're detail-focused and enjoy working in a structured environment, this role may be perfect for you.
My client is a growing organisation with a strong national footprint. The AP Clerk will play a key role in keeping supplier accounts up to date, ensuring that payments are processed accurately and queries are resolved timeously. This is a fast-paced role suited to someone who can manage workload effectively, communicate clearly, and stay organised under pressure.
Responsibilities Include:

• Process supplier invoices, credit notes, and payment requests
• Validate and post invoices into the system
• Reconcile vendor accounts and resolve any payment queries
• Maintain an up-to-date filing system and vendor database
• Ensure suppliers are paid within agreed timelines
• Follow up on outstanding documentation
• Confirm intercompany balances and monitor vendor age analysis
• Assist with general admin and purchase order maintenance
• Capture credit card transactions accurately and on time

What do you need:

• Grade 12 (Matric)
• 2+ years of experience in accounts payable or financial admin
• Working knowledge of Excel and financial systems
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Good communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Organised, adaptable, and comfortable working with high volumes
