Our success is built on delivering swift, flexible, and high-quality services. As we continue to grow, we are looking to expand our finance team with the addition of an Accounts Payable and Receivable Officer.
About the Role
This role is an exciting opportunity for someone with solid bookkeeping experience and a passion for numbers and organisation. Reporting to the Senior Accounts Payable and Receivable Officer, you will work closely with a collaborative team of Service Charge Accountants, Credit Controllers, Accounts Administrators, and Property Managers.
Key Responsibilities
Generate accounts payable reports and process payments via BACS and cheques
Liaise daily with property managers to resolve invoice queries
Communicate with external suppliers to clarify payment discrepancies
Correspond with utility companies to ensure timely and accurate invoicing
Ensure all invoice details on the system are correct and meet company standards
Work with insurance providers to ensure premiums are paid promptly
Requirements
Degree-level education
Proven bookkeeping experience
Strong technical and communication skills
Proficient in accounting systems, with advanced Excel and Word skills
Previous experience in property accounting (advantageous)
Ability to meet deadlines and demonstrate exceptional attention to detail
