We are looking for an Accounts Administrator to join our Eatfresh team.

Duties & Responsibilities
Administration and Compliance
Maintain organised and accurate filing systems for all invoices, statements, receipts, and financial documentation.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable accounting standards.
Assist auditors by preparing and providing all required supporting documents.
Support HR and general office administration tasks when required.
Check and verify administrative documents received from Stores daily.
Reconcile store sales against all pay types (cash, card, vouchers, mobile payments, etc.).
Follow up daily on outstanding or missing store administration to ensure timeous submission and accuracy.
Perform all ad hoc administrative and accounting duties as required to support the smooth functioning of the department.
Core responsibilities
Accounts payable and receivable:
Manage both, including processing invoices and payments, verifying bills, and maintaining updated records.
Bank and account reconciliation:
Reconcile all bank accounts and supplier accounts to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
Financial reporting:
Assist in preparing monthly management accounts, financial reports, and assisting with budget and forecasting.
Record-keeping:
Maintain and update internal accounting databases, spreadsheets, and all financial records.
Invoicing and payments:
Create, send, and store invoices, and process payments to vendors and clients.
Tax and compliance:
Assist with preparing and submitting tax forms and ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
Skills and Competencies
Technical skills:
Proficiency in accounting software (like Xero) and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
Accounting knowledge:
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
Attention to detail:
Crucial for accurately handling financial data and avoiding errors.
Organizational skills:
Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines.
Communication:
Ability to communicate with clients, suppliers, and other departments.
Numerical ability:
Strong aptitude for working with numbers, calculating taxes, and understanding financial data.
Qualifications
Accounting Degree preferred
