NDC Personnel & Contractors is on the lookout for an energetic, initiative-taking, and savvy Accountant to join a vibrant Cape Town Northern Suburbs-based FMCG enterprise!

As the Accountant, youxe2x80x99ll lead and support the admin team, providing guidance on accounting systems, policies, and procedures. Your responsibilities will include managing and maintaining control over receipts and issues, reconciling weekly and monthly stock counts, and overseeing sales returns, debit, and credit notes.

In addition to your hands-on financial control, youxe2x80x99ll be instrumental in analysing and reporting on financial performance against budgets and ensuring the accurate allocation of journals, allocations, and provisions in the income statement. Your role extends to managing working capital, compiling annual operations and capital budgets, and maintaining unit financial procedures. Oversight of internal financial authorizations, systems, and audits will also be part of your purview.

Accounting professionals will need a relevant degree in, 5xe2x80x936 years of general accounting experience (FMCG sector preferred), and proficiency in MS Office and SageX3. Demonstrated experience in effectively managing a team of administrators is crucial. You must also be willing to facilitate weekly and monthly stock takes and be available to work after hours and weekends if required.
