Job Summary
Oversee 3 team members -address poor performance, quarterly appraisals, provide guidance and leadership, track KPIxe2x80x99s
Responsible for the weekly review of wages and payroll in accordance with the deadlines
Perform creditors supplier reconciliations, review and sign off every supplier recon with deadlines
General Ledger xe2x80x93 a monthly review of Balance sheet recons, daily reviews of bank reconciliations, etc.
Preparation of reports as and when requested
Assist with preparations of budget schedules
Ensure all accounting records are properly filed
Liaise with auditors and prepare audit-related schedules monthly and in advance of the audit in order to meet deadlines
Prepare all balance sheet reconciliations for wages and salaries balance sheet accounts
Assist with the preparation of schedules for tax computations and tax audits
Act as backup for other team members as and when agreed with management
Liaise with external parties i.e., banks, SARS, service providers, etc.
Manage cash movements across bank accounts to ensure cash is available to meet any payment needs
Transfer cash to and from call accounts as and when needed
Ability to work overtime at month-end or when needed to meet deadlines
Prepare daily, weekly, and annual rolling cash flow forecasts while meeting set deadlines
Attend monthly IT meetings
Assist with other ad hoc duties as needed

Skills & Experience:
Team player with good time management skills
Staff management experience advantageous
High level of accuracy
ERP system experience

Qualification:
SAICA Articles
Finance or Accounting degree
Postgraduate or Honours degree beneficial
