An opportunity exists at OttoBauthentic for an energetic, can-do approach Accountant to join their team.
B.Com Accounting with Articles is a prerequisite for this role along with a minimum of 3+ years post article working experience to support the finance manager and to provide mentorship for the rest of the finance team.
This position will eventually require relocation to Kenya
1. Candidate would be responsible for:

• Maintaining Trail
• Overseeing full accounting function (including all general ledger accounts).
• Journal and general ledger transactions and
• Balance sheet
• Weekly and monthly preparation and financial analysis of management accounting
• Monitoring, analysis of customer profitability and other
• Maintenance of Fixed Asset
• Banking
• Maintenance of Kenya Revenue Authority (equivalent of SARS) regulatory requirements - VAT, Income Tax and Withholding Taxation and other statutory requirements.
• Foreign Currency Translations and bookings (EUR/GBP/USD/KES).
• Preparation of annual
• Preparation of audit
• Preparation of
• Assist with the preparation of management accounts, in-depth analysis of results against budgets and forecasts.
• Assist the Director with other requests, projects and responsibilities that may

2. Skills and Professional requirements:

• Com Accounting or similar degree.
• SAIPA/SAICA articles
• Minimum 3 years' post article experience, preferably in a logistics
• SAIPA/CIBA/CIMA/CA Qualifications would be
