Job Description

Accountant required to join a reputable company in the properties sector who will play a crucial role in managing the day to day accounting operations ensuring accuracy and compliance in financial reporting as well supporting internal and external audits.

Duties & responsibilities:

Prepare and review journal entries. Assist with month-end, quarter-end and year-end close processes. Maintain accuracy and integrity of general ledger and sub ledgers. Preparing financial statements and management reports. Support budget and forecast processes. Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards. Assist on audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations. Mentor Junior Accountants. Lead or support special projects including process automation and system upgrades.
Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field. CPA or progress towards certification advantageous but not compulsory. Strong knowledge of Pastel.0 Experience with ERP system i.e. SAP, Oracle.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: R18000,00 - R35000,00 per month
