Are you detail-oriented and passionate about driving financial accuracy in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? We're looking for an

Accountant

to join our finance team and play a key role in ensuring financial control, accurate cost analysis, and insightful reporting across our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the costing function and deliver accurate month-end financials within deadlines. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure precise tracking of operational costs. Maintain costing systems and manage cost queries from internal teams and HQ. Capitalize costs associated with capital projects and monitor spend vs. budget. Calculate depreciation and reconcile capital work-in-progress (WIP) accounts. Maintain a compliant and up-to-date fixed asset register. Manage quarterly fixed asset counts, annual inventory stock takes, and WIP tracking. Manage depreciation calculations, wear and tear tax allowances and oversee the annual fixed assets audit. Monitor pre-approvals and purchase orders, ensuring budget alignment. Support the buyer in supplier negotiations and report on purchase price variances (PPVs). Track open POs to ensure timely delivery of goods and services. Oversee the supplier documentation flow from PO to payment. Follow up on payment statuses and maintain accurate financial records. Contribute to annual budgeting and periodic re-forecasting processes. Assist with costings for new product development in collaboration with engineering.

What We're Looking For:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance. CIMA certification is a plus. Minimum of 5 years' experience in cost analysis, inventory management, and management accounting. Experience in a manufacturing environment is highly desirable. Strong numerical, analytical, and communication skills. A detail-driven mindset and a commitment to process accuracy. Willingness to work extended hours and provide after-hours support when needed.
