Job Summary
Opportunity to join the Finance team of an International company headquartered in South Africa, as an Accountant. This role is based within their Head Office in Cape Town.
The Accountant will report directly to the Finance Manager and will have a wide range of responsibilities, including:
- Processing and reconciliation of cash books
- Processing and reconciliation of local and international debtors and creditors
- Processing of inventory and general ledger journals
- Processing on-line banking payments
- Analysing and processing of credit card expenses
- Preparing monthly analysis of general ledger control accounts
- Managing petty cash
- Preparation of documentation for quarterly and annual audits
- Qualification in accounting
- 5+ years experience in a similar role
- Good understanding of accounting concepts
- Experience in Excel and Pastel Evolution
