Accountant Manager - Moreletapark, Pretoria
An established accounting firm based in Moreletapark, Pretoria is seeking a dynamic and experienced Accountant Manager to join their growing team. This role is ideal for a motivated professional with strong leadership abilities and a passion for delivering high-quality financial services.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the finance team (approximately 8 members).
Review and manage monthly management accounts and reports.
Prepare and finalize financial statements in compliance with relevant standards.
Liaise with internal and external auditors during audits.
Ensure full compliance with VAT, tax regulations, and SARS requirements.
Prepare and manage annual budgets and forecasts.
Handle SARS e-Filing, resolve disputes, and oversee audit processes.
Provide guidance, mentorship, and performance management to junior staff.
Minimum Requirements:
SAIPA/ AGA (SA) registered
At least 6 years of experience in a similar accounting role.
Proven management experience with strong team leadership skills.
Solid experience with SARS processes, tax compliance, and auditing.
