Accountant (long Term Insurance)

Job Description
Job Summary We are looking for accountants in the long-term insurance space, offering exposure to complex financial reporting, actuarial interactions, and regulatory requirements unique to the industry. This role will allow you to broaden your knowledge in the insurance and financial services environment while being part of a dynamic and innovative team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the full accounting function for long-term insurance entities
- Preparation of financial statements, management accounts, and budgets
- Liaise with actuarial teams on reserves, policyholder funds, and IFRS 17 compliance
- Ensure accurate regulatory reporting and statutory submissions (FSCA, Prudential Authority, SARS)
- Assist with audits and internal control processes
