Accountant Finance

Our client is looking for an Accountant who can balance financial precision with a hands-on, energetic approach to managing the companys financial health. This is a key role where your expertise will help drive growth, maintain compliance, and keep our operations running smoothly both locally and internationally.
Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Leadership

• Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Analyze costs, profitability, and performance trends to guide strategic decisions.
• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and ensure data accuracy.
• Budgeting & Forecasting

• Partner with sales and production teams to craft realistic budgets.
• Track financial performance and report on key variances.
• Accounts Payable & Receivable

• Keep vendor payments, customer collections, and reconciliations on track.
• Implement efficient invoicing, follow-up, and payment systems.
• Compliance & Audit

• Ensure tax, statutory, and internal control compliance.
• Coordinate seamlessly with auditors and regulatory bodies.
• Inventory & Cost Control

• Collaborate with production and stores to manage raw material and finished goods valuation.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and streamline processes.
• Forex & International Trade

• Manage foreign currency transactions, hedging, and banking relationships.
• Oversee import documentation, Letters of Credit, and international payments.
• Ensure compliance with trade and exchange control regulations.
• Banking & Treasury

• Handle fund transfers, remittances, and bank reconciliations.
• Maintain strong relationships with local and international banking partners.
• Team Leadership

• Supervise and mentor finance team members.
• Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and ethical conduct.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor of Commerce Degree
• Solid experience in accounting, financial reporting, and compliance ideally in a manufacturing or trading environment.
• Working knowledge of ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
• Strong grasp of forex management, import documentation, and cost control.
• A collaborative spirit with excellent communication and analytical skills.
