Job Description
This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a strong understanding of accounting principles and a passion for the pharmaceutical sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and manage the general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Reconcile bank accounts, supplier accounts, and customer accounts.
- Monitor and control expenses, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Assist with statutory compliance, including tax submissions and audits.
- Support management with financial analysis and reporting.
- Ensure accurate inventory accounting and cost tracking in line with pharmaceutical regulations.
- Liaise with internal departments and External Auditors as required.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 3-7 years' experience in accounting, preferably within the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or FMCG sector.
- Knowledge of statutory and regulatory requirements related to the pharmaceutical industry.
- Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines with accuracy.
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and professionalism.
