Prepare and maintain accurate general ledger accounts.
Process month-end and year-end closing activities.
Review, reconcile, and analyze financial statements and reports.
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
Monitor inventory costing, variance analysis, and stock reconciliations.
Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical industry regulations and financial policies.
Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and financial planning.
Prepare VAT, tax returns, and other statutory submissions.
Liaise with auditors during internal and external audits.
Support management with financial insights and ad-hoc reporting.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Accounting/Finance (essential).
3-5 years' relevant accounting experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical or manufacturing industry.
Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS).
Experience with accounting software (SAP, Sage, Pastel, or similar).
Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong communication and reporting abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
Knowledge of stock systems and cost accounting is an advantage
