Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage US accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with US tax legislation and standards
• Handle US Dollar transactions, currency exchange and international payments
• Prepare monthly and annual financial reports, identifying trends and providing valuable insights for the business
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (from finance to operations) to ensure smooth financial processes and compliance

Job Experience and Skills Required:

• Minimum BCom in Accounting or Finance OR Newly Qualified CA(SA)
• 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in US accounting and bookkeeping OR exposure to US Dollar transactions, currency management and tax legislation. Audit-only experience doesn't count, you're a finance all-rounder
• Proficient in US accounting practices, tax rules and managing multi-currency transactions
• Experience with Sage
• A detail-oriented mindset and great communication skills
