We're Hiring - Accountant
Are you looking to grow your career in accounting with a company that values accuracy, teamwork, and development? We're recruiting for an Accountant to join our client's finance team.
This role offers the chance to gain excellent exposure across multiple areas of accounting while working in a supportive environment.
What you'll be doing:
- General ledger reconciliations
- Supplier reconciliations and processing supplier payments (local & foreign)
- Cashbook preparation and reconciliations
- Assisting with managing foreign exchange and cashflow
- Reconciling inter-company transactions and balances
- Maintaining the fixed asset register
- Assisting with preparation of trial balances and management packs
- Supporting with financial statements for subsidiaries/associates
- Other general accounting tasks as required
- Degree in Accounting / Finance (or equivalent qualification - BCom preferred)
- At least 2 years' experience in an accounting role (generalist exposure is great!)
- Knowledge of reconciliations, payments, and general ledger processes
- Exposure to foreign payments or foreign exchange will be an advantage but not essential
- Experience on SYSPRO or another accounting system will be an advantage
- Professional membership (SAICA/SAIPA) is a bonus, not a requirement
- Gain exposure to both local and international transactions
