Job Description

Duties Will Include:

Maintain financial records up to balance sheet
General Ledger and Fixed Asset Register maintenance
Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable management
Bank and payment preparation and reconciliations
Foreign exchange transactions
Credit card statements and expense claim reconciliations
Process monthly journals and adjustments
Assist with month-end and year-end processes
Quotations, orders and invoices
Stock preparation and distribution, and plan and oversee stock takes

Education Requirements:

Completed Matric (Grade 12)
Relevant tertiary qualification in accounting or finance

Job Requirements and Skills:

15+ years' experience in an accounting position essential
Sage or Pastel Evolution knowledge preferred
Knowledge of foreign transactions
Proficient in MS packages
Deadline driven
Excellent communication skills (liasing and engaging with international stakeholders)
Ability to work in a high pressure, fast-paced environment
Team player
