Job Summary About the Role:
As our new Accountant, you'll support the General Manager and broader finance function in delivering accurate, timely, and insightful financial data that drives strategic decision-making across our diverse portfolio.Key Responsibilities:
- General Ledger Closure xe2x80x93 Month-end processes and reconciliations
- Board Pack Preparation xe2x80x93 Ensure professional, clear, and timely submissions
- Financial Analysis & Flash Reporting xe2x80x93 Drive insights to support business growth
- Ad Hoc Financial Projects xe2x80x93 Bring solutions to complex financial challenges
- Full finance function xe2x80x93 Assist in budgets, forecasting, and auditsWhat Wexe2x80x99re Looking For:- Bachelorxe2x80x99s degree in accounting/finance (BCom or similar)
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role, ideally within hospitality or a group environment
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, analysis, and systems
- Excel wizardry and ERP system proficiency (Pastel, SAP, or similar)
