Job Summary About the Role:
As our new Accountant, you'll support the General Manager and broader finance function in delivering accurate, timely, and insightful financial data that drives strategic decision-making across our diverse portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- General Ledger Closure Month-end processes and reconciliations
- Board Pack Preparation Ensure professional, clear, and timely submissions
- Financial Analysis & Flash Reporting Drive insights to support business growth
- Ad Hoc Financial Projects Bring solutions to complex financial challenges
- Full finance function Assist in budgets, forecasting, and audits
What Were Looking For:
- Bachelors degree in accounting/finance (BCom or similar)
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role, ideally within hospitality or a group environment
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, analysis, and systems
- Excel wizardry and ERP system proficiency (Pastel, SAP, or similar)
- Proactive mindset with a passion for problem-solving and collaboration
