The Opportunity This position works out of our Roodepoort Offices, Abbott Place in the Established Pharmaceutical Division where we are committed to bringing the benefits of our trusted medicines to more people in the worldxe2x80x99s fastest-growing countries. Our broad portfolio of high-quality and differentiated branded generic medicines reaches across multiple therapeutic areas including gastroenterology, women's health, cardiometabolic, pain management/central nervous system, and respiratory. What Youxe2x80x99ll Do:

• Inventory accounting (inbound, outbound and PPV)
• Billing accounting (review)
• Vendor management (POs, accruals)
• Month end close activities: revenue recognition and accrual accounting.
• Month end close activities: review of sales, P/L and inventory reports.
• Analytical review for P/L and B/S

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting. Qualified Accountant is a plus.
• 2-3 Years accountant experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a distribution or manufacturing company is advantageous
• Proficient Excel knowledge
• Advance knowledge to process large datasets.
• Previous experience in working in financial modules of a widely used ERP system.
• Strong accounting and analytical skills
• Adapt quickly and learn new tasks independently.
• Good communications skills both verbal and written.
