Job Description

Position: Accountant Location: Sandton (Office based) Our client is seeking a skilled and diligent Accountant to join their team. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining financial records, managing payments, and contributing to various financial projects. Your attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines, and financial expertise will be crucial to the organization's success. Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately record financial data, including cash books, invoices, and journal entries.
• Prepare and maintain various financial reconciliations, such as balance sheets and VAT.
• Collaborate on special projects, including events and initiatives.
• Provide support during the audit process and assist auditors as needed.
• Manage and process payments, ensuring timely and accurate transactions.
• Generate financial reports, including cash flow, KPI, and budget analysis.
• Maintain insurance records for company assets.
• Handle Vodacom-related requests and liaise with the provider.
• Ensure VAT and tax compliance, including reconciliations and calculations.
• Undertake ad-hoc duties as required by senior authorities.

Requirements:

• A degree in a related field is essential.
• Strong financial acumen and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in financial software and tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
• Prior experience in a similar role is preferred.

Salary + Benefits:

• Market related: between R380 000 - R420 000
