Accountant
Job Description
One of South Africaxe2x80x99s leading renewable energy giants is looking to hire an industrious Financial Accountant to add to their dynamic team based in Johannesburg North.
You will be responsible for the end-to-end accounting function, including Management Account reporting, Board Reporting, Tax Compliance and Budgeting for specific companies within the global organization. You will also be responsible for providing financial administrative and clerical support to the global organisation in the finance department, by verifying suppliers that the BEE requirements are in place, verifying suppliers are without any conflict of interest, and completing payments and control expenses through verifying, processing and preparing reports on operation and maintenance. Ensures accurate financial transaction recording and the application of policies and procedures are applied and adhered too.
Education Requirements:
- BCom/Diploma in Finance or Accounting
- Minimum of 3 years in an Accounting role
- Industry experience in Engineering/Construction beneficial
- Understanding of Management accounts, Tax Calculations and Budgets
- Analytical Thinker
- Effective communication skills
- Organizational skills

- Deadline driven
- Effectively works under pressure
