Accountant FMCG / Food & Bev /Agri ~ Manufacturing

We're on the hunt for a qualified Accountant with a passion for financial accuracy and compliance. You will be required to prepare financial statements and reports to inform insightful decision-making, including compiling tax filings and being the point of contact for external auditors and consultants towards regulatory compliance.
Essential Requirements:
- BCom Honours Degree in Financial Accounting.
- Minimum of 3 years post Article experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Bonus: Working knowledge of SAP.
- Mastery of IFRS & South African Tax regulations.
- Solid grasp of business principles & practices.
- SAP & MS Office proficient.
- Stellar in Reporting, Business acumen, & Analytical thinking.
- Strong in persuasion, communication, and collaboration.
- Adept at continuous improvement, change management, & leadership.
- Policies & Procedures: Stay updated with IFRS, Tax legislation, and ensure alignment with Group policies. Draft & review policies for CFO approval.
- Financial Reporting & Accounting: Liaise with internal & external entities. Oversee transaction recording, balance sheet reconciliation, and financial statement preparation. Ensure timely statutory reporting compliance.
- Stakeholder Management: Offer leadership in accounting activities and maintain robust stakeholder relationships.
- People Management: Hire, train, and manage your team, ensuring top-notch performance and compliance.
