Our client, a respected player in the investment management sector, is seeking a technically strong Senior Accountant to manage end-to-end accounting, reporting, and compliance across multiple investment entities and funds.
This is a 6 - 8 month contract ideal for an individual who thrives in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment and enjoys blending accounting precision with commercial insight.
Key Focus Areas
? Prepare IFRS-compliant financial statements and management reports
? Oversee SARB submissions and regulatory filings
? Manage month-end close, reconciliations, and cashflow reporting
? Lead audits and ensure accurate exchange control compliance
? Analyse financial data to support investment decisions
Your Background

• BCom Accounting / Finance (Honours preferred)
• Completed SAICA or SAIPA articles
• 5+ years' post-articles experience in investment management or related financial services
• Advanced Excel & CaseWare proficiency (essential)
• Strong IFRS, valuation, and fund accounting knowledge

This is a hands-on role requiring a balance of technical accounting expertise and strategic financial insight.
