Humana Ltd is a UK-based marketing agency providing creative and strategic marketing solutions to clients across multiple industries. We are seeking a

remote full-time Accountant

to manage our financial operations in both the UK and South Africa.

Role Overview

As our Accountant, you'll be responsible for managing accounts, preparing financial statements, handling payroll, and ensuring all tax and statutory obligations are met. You will work remotely with our international team, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across all financial matters.

Key Responsibilities

Manage bookkeeping and prepare monthly management accounts. File and maintain

UK Companies House confirmation statements

. Handle

corporate tax affairs

for the UK and assist with South African tax compliance. Process and manage

payroll

for UK and South African staff. Reconcile bank accounts and manage cash flow. Liaise with

HMRC

,

SARS

, and external auditors. Provide financial insights and support business decisions.

Requirements

Degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Proven experience as an Accountant (remote or international experience a plus). Strong understanding of

UK accounting and tax regulations

(South African knowledge beneficial). Experience using accounting software such as

Xero

,

QuickBooks

, or

Sage

. Excellent Excel and reporting skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently. Good communication and organisational skills.
