Job Description

Professional Financial Accountant with a Degree in Accounting or Finance, preferably completed SAIPA/SAICA Articles and minimum 5 years' full accounting experience, required for a company based in Grabouw.
Minimum requirements:

• Accounting or Finance Degree essential
• Completed SAIPA/SAICA Articles highly advantageous
• Minimum 5 years' hands-on experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role essential
• Experience in managing full function accounting cycle essential
• Proficiency in accounting software systems essential
• Syspro experience beneficial
• Strong understanding of accounts payable, account receivable, general ledger, fixed asset and tax compliance required

Responsibilities:

• Full Accounting function
• Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable management
• General Ledge and Cash Book oversight
• Fixed Asset Register management
• Tax Compliance and SARS submission
• Month-end Close and Financial Reporting
• Team oversight and review
• Cross Departmental collaboration
• Audit and Record Management
• Prepare Financial Statements
