As an Accountant you will be responsible for the below:
- Collaborate with operations management to identify opportunities for cost reduction and profit improvement through thorough analysis and reporting of financial data, particularly focusing on deviations from the budget.
- Maintain precise records of company accounts, strictly adhering to legal and unit office requirements.
- Coordinate audits efficiently and take prompt corrective actions as necessary.
- Ensure the smooth and accurate processing of creditor payments.
- Verify and accurately invoice debtors while ensuring timely receipt of payments.
- Promptly address the accounting needs of internal customers with accuracy.
- Build a competent and motivated team of accounting staff through confident and compassionate leadership.
- Ensure strict compliance with all accounting-related company and Gambling Board policies and procedures.
- Stay updated on relevant changes in tax and accounting regulations.
- Submit accurate statutory returns by the deadlines.
- Collaborate effectively within a team or work independently to consistently deliver high-quality standards with accuracy.
Completed Bcom in Accounting and related field.
5+ years experience in a similar role in finance.
