Job Description
Role: Accountant
Purpose of the job:
To maintain accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, analysing financial data, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting principles and regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an accountant or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and relevant regulations.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and financial management systems.
- Familiarity with financial analysis techniques and forecasting methods.
- Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, journals, and databases.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes for the group of companies
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
