Accountant - Construction Industry (Buildsmart Experience Required) ? Location: Centurion, PTA
? Salary: R450,000 - R480,000 per annum
? Start Date: January 2026
Are you a detail-oriented Accountant with a passion for the construction industry? Our client, a well-established construction company based in Woodmead, is seeking a skilled and proactive Accountant to join their dynamic team.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance (essential)
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a similar role within the construction sector
- Proficiency in Buildsmart accounting software (non-negotiable)
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and cost control
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Manage full accounting function including general ledger, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Oversee project costing and ensure accurate allocation of expenses
- Prepare monthly management accounts and assist with audits
- Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure financial compliance
- Support the finance team with ad hoc tasks and process improvements
