Duties:
- Run full accounting cycles - journals, ledgers, reconciliations, and financial statements.
- Ensure SARS compliance: VAT201, EMP201, ITR12, ITR14.
- Provide client-facing advice, interpreting financials into actionable business strategies.
- Prepare for audits, ensuring compliance and readiness.
- Drive process efficiency, leveraging digital tools for accuracy and speed.
Qualifications:
- Matric (Grade 12)
- BCom Financial Accounting or equivalent.
- Completed SAIPA articles.
- Additional tax/compliance training advantageous.
- Prior exposure to professional accounting practice beneficial.
- Strong working knowledge of CaseWare, Pastel, Xero, and Excel.
- Experience engaging with SARS platforms.
- Technical mastery of accounting standards and tax law.
- Ability to analyse, problem-solve, and advise clients effectively.
- High attention to detail with discretion in handling sensitive information.
- Strong client communication and advisory skills.
