What you will be doing:
- Lead monthly financial reporting, board reports, and variance analysis
- Oversee month-end close processes, including journal reviews and intercompany transactions
- Manage cash flow reporting, short- and long-term forecasting
- Ensure compliance with tax legislation and file statutory returns
- Prepare group financial statements and liaise with external auditors
- Guide policy updates and ensure correct application of accounting standards
- Manage audit processes and internal controls
- Support treasury functions, funding compliance, and SARS engagements
- Coach junior team members and assist with financial statement preparation
- CA(SA), with completed articles, leadership potential or experience
- 2+ years' experience in a financial accounting role
- Manufacturing industry experience or exposure to high fixed asset/project environments
- Proficient in SAP, Excel, PowerPoint, and financial reporting
- Meaningful work contributing to public health
- Flexible, supportive team environment
- Exposure to high-impact projects and senior leadership
- Involvement in major funding and reporting initiatives
