Job Summary
Our client in the Property Sector is currently looking for an Accountant to join their finance team in their office in Observatory. The position is an in office job. They are looking for someone who is ideally young to suit their current culture. Need to be fluent in English and Afrikaans. They are looking for someone who wants to manage their finances and help them grow their company.
Duties Include:
- All Accounting related functions.
- Overseeing/Managing the Bookkeepers in their team.
- Annual Financial Statements.
- Bookkeeping up to trial balance.
- Bank reconciliations.
- Accounts receivable - Bill of Quantities, Claims, Invoicing and Debt Collection.
- Creditors reconciliations.
- Debtors.
- Payroll.
- Other duties that would be requested from time to time.
- Knowledge of Payroll software - SimplePay will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of Accounting software - Sage will be an added advantage.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet month-end deadlines.
- Knowledge of stock orders , delivery notes and purchase orders.
- A team player is essential.
- Managerial experience is required.
- Own reliable transport.
- Willingness to learn and self-develop.
- Need to be able to work on your own.
- Minimum of 3 years experience.
- Manage their Bookkeepers.
- Bcom degree in Accounting or any Financial related degree is essential
- The position is an in office role in their office in Observatory.
