The Accountant role is responsible to manage the financial function on site through the implementation of financial controls, recording and reporting to ensure controls are maintained in all finance related functions/procedures relating to business on site/s in area of responsibility to mitigate risks.
Qualification Requirements
- BCom Accounting Degree xe2x80x93 Essential
- CIMA or Completed SAIPA/SAICA articles
- FMCG at operational level 2-3 Essential
- Supervisory experience 2-3 Essential
- To ensure asset management processes are implemented and maintained to manage stock, accurately to prevent theft.
- To manage all procedures relating to value chain, wages, debtors and creditors to prevent misappropriation of company funds.
- To ensure accurate recording and reporting of financial information through compilation of balance sheet reconciliations
- To provide a cost management service to the management team in respect of deviation reporting along with waste elimination opportunities.
