Location: Johannesburg or Cape Town, South Africa (Remote with weekly office visits)

Role Summary: As an Account Manager, you will take ownership of a portfolio of SMB accounts, driving sales revenue and fostering lasting relationships. Your focus will be on nurturing these connections and strategically aligning our cutting-edge services with each client's unique needs. You'll be more than an account manager; you'll be a strategic partner, guiding clients toward their objectives with your insights.

Responsibilities: In this role, you will:

  • Manage, develop, and grow a portfolio of SMB customer accounts.
  • Identify how our services can address customer challenges and provide value.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Negotiate annual renewals and provide accurate forecasts.
  • Develop and maintain account plans.
  • Maximize sales for our key products and services.
  • Achieve growth targets aligned with your experience and account base.
Key Requirements: To thrive in this role, you should have:
  • Strong English language skills with numeracy and literacy proficiency.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in Account Management or similar roles within managed services, information security, or software sales.
  • Residency in Johannesburg or Cape Town, with weekly office visits.

General Information:
  • While predominantly home-based, this role requires regular travel to Our Client's offices and customer sites.
  • Working hours align with UK business hours (09:00 am - 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday).
  • Occasional business trips to client, supplier, and partner offices in the UK or abroad may be required.
