Role: Account Manager - IT MSP
Location - Johannesburg - in office - Rivonia
Established in 2006 this successful IT Managed Service Provider is looking for an Account Manager to drive customer success by helping businesses unlock the full value of our IT solutions for a competitive edge. You'll manage a portfolio of clients, nurture strong post-sales relationships, and be their go-to contact for all account matters.
You'll work closely with executives and key stakeholders to boost retention, grow revenue, and spot new business opportunities. Collaborating with internal teams, you'll ensure seamless delivery, exceed expectations, and enhance the customer experience. Occasional travel required.

We're seeking an experienced Account Manager with proven ICT / Managed IT Services expertise to build strong client relationships, drive retention, and grow revenue. You'll be the primary contact for assigned accounts, acting as a strategic advisor to C-level stakeholders and aligning technology solutions with business needs.
Key Responsibilities

• Manage and grow existing client accounts, ensuring timely delivery of IT solutions.
• Maintain trusted relationships with key decision-makers.
• Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities in collaboration with the sales team.
• Leverage your technical knowledge of IT infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, and voice solutions to guide client strategy.
• Gather insights, resolve issues quickly, and enhance the customer experience.

• 3-5 years in ICT account management / sales (Managed IT Services essential).
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud solutions, and cybersecurity.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, Intune, Autopilot) advantageous.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.
• Relevant Diploma/Degree in IT, Business, or Sales/Marketing advantageous.
