Account Manager: Fixed Lsd Sales

Job Description


Role purpose:

They run the end-to-end Key Account and Client Management of strategic Large-Scale Developments (LSD) portfolio accounts within the Fixed services LSD division.

Your responsibilities will include:

1. Sales Planning and Execution
Develop and implement the sales plan for respective LSD portfolios aligned to the 'Fixed' business strategy.

2. Revenue and Margin Growth
Develop and implement plans to increase net sales revenue across Fixed's Sales Channels.

3. LSD Portfolio/ Partner Management/ CX
Identify and propose new channel partners
Manage and support existing channel partners.
Oversight on channel partner operations to ensure business models are profitable and in accordance with Vodacom standards;
Accountable for the end-to-end service delivery of the 'Customer' (CX) KPI for the 'Fixed' LSD division's portfolio of accounts.
Drive product knowledge, training and developing business acumen of Channel Partner;

4. Reporting and Feedback
Accurate reporting and feedback of performance against targets.

5. Stakeholder Relationship Management and Customer Service
Build strong relationships through proactive interaction with customers at all levels.
Ensure a good Customer Experience (CX) with all customer interactions

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

Must have technical / professional qualifications:
Matric - Essential
Relevant 3-year Degree/ Diploma
At least 3 years' experience in sales, account management in the telecommunications industry

OR

Matric plus relevant short courses/diplomas/certificates AND
Minimum of 5 years' experience in sales, account management in the telecommunications industry

Core competencies, knowledge and experience:

  • 3-5 years' experience in ICT Sales.
  • Preferable knowledge in the telecoms arena
  • Presentation skills
  • Negotiation skills
  • Communication skills (strong verbal and written skills)
  • Strong customer focus
  • Forecasting is essential with strong Financial acumen
  • Planning and organising
  • Proven track record in managing/building relationships
