Job Summary

Hire Resolve's client is seeking a dynamic and motivated Account to join their team in Cape Town. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of clients in the Cape Town area. You will build strong relationships with clients, understand their recruitment needs, and provide tailored solutions to meet those needs.

Job Purpose/Mission:

  • Key point of contact for customers in the South Africa market regarding any Service or related topic worldwide.
  • Take ownership, manage, and lead all customer communication involving the relevant Nordex Departments (Claims, Reports, etc.).
  • Lead the South Africa Service Department to achieve assigned Service-related objectives/tasks and deliver "Best class performance" for customers.
  • Dedicate attention to customer-specific project issues, parts supply, or any Service or Operational facilities matter, including technology supplied by Nordex throughout the sales and operational phases.
  • Promote and lead the performance and reliability data feedback from customers' facilities to the corresponding areas of the organization and seek ways to improve such performance.
  • Ensure that all customer sites operate according to NAW instruction and company procedures.
Key Accountabilities:
  • Responsible for customer management and the key point of contact.
  • Have strategic and tactical ownership of customers in the sales and after-sales phase, maintaining awareness of ongoing activities through the value chain.
  • Own customer requests and claims, leading the response process to ensure timely and proper responses according to contractual obligations and best practices.
  • Serve as an initial point of contact and point of escalation for Nordex customers.
  • Understand customers' business strategy and challenges.
  • Map, build, and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders in customers' organizations.
  • Develop and execute account targets and actions.
  • Identify and mature partnership opportunities, driving early engagement activities for long-term pipelines.
  • Identify and implement new ways of adapting to customer business models/needs while minimizing risk and maximizing profits.
  • Engage in negotiations with the contracting team and improve contractual frameworks/basis with the customer.
  • Align with Global Service Sales, After Sales, Customer Account function, and KAM function for communication and report preparation.
  • Develop knowledge of all Service contracts and provide guidance and support to the Head of Service in customer-related topics and communication.
  • Draft and revise various SAA contracts and subcontracts for current and new Service Projects.
  • Track contractual performance, especially analyzing the successful performance of all OMASA contractual obligations.
  • Regularly meet with customers to discuss contractual performance and project matters.
  • Regularly visit the site team to support O&M team on contract interpretation and/or doubts.
  • Coordinate interface within the service department for the flawless execution of handover between project phases - construction and service.
  • Perform other related duties within service and operations as assigned.
Service After Sales:
  • O&M scope tender management for new projects led by the Sales Department, including support and/or questions requested by the Sales team.
  • Gate LoA risk analysis registration in C4C.
  • Review of new projects Gate ppt prior to the official presentation.
  • Create service renewal cost reports.
  • Manage Service Sales KPIs.
  • Manage aftersales offers, including NX local company sales increase.
  • Provide support to COE team as required.

  • Knowledge of the NORDEX or ACCIONA specific programs, products, and services is an advantage.

Requirements

Education and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in commerce, business administration, engineering, or law.
  • Driving License - Minimum Code B.
  • Career / Profile:
  • Knowledge of the NORDEX or ACCIONA specific programs, products, and services is an advantage.
  • Strong relationship builder with experience in long-term customer relations and excellent communication skills.
