Account Executive (sales Manager Designate)

Job Description

  • Develop, lead and execute sales strategy.
  • Develop, manage and inculcate a high-performance culture in the sales team by setting clear objectives, providing coaching and mentoring, and fostering a collaborative and motivated sales environment.
  • Forecast sales performance and monitor regional performance metrics
  • Drive sales growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, as well as maximising revenue from existing clients.
  • Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline.
  • Single-minded pursuit of new business ~ identify and target potential clients, build relationships with key decision-makers, and secure new business opportunities.
  • Consistently hit and exceed challenging sales targets, driving revenue growth.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics. Use this information to make informed decisions and adapt the sales strategy accordingly.
  • Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with key clients. Ensure their needs are met and exceeded, and act as a trusted advisor on telecommunications solutions.
  • Collaborate with other divisions to optimise go to market strategies.
  • Continuously improve the sales process, including lead generation, qualification, proposal development, and closing deals. Implement best practices and sales tools to streamline sales operations.

Qualifications and experience:
  • Bachelor's degree (preferred) or National Diploma in business management, telecommunications, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8 years sales experience in the ICT/ISP/Telecommunications sector.
  • At least 2-3 years as demonstrable track record in B2B Sales leadership or Account management.
  • In-depth knowledge of telecommunications products and services.
  • Proven track record of meeting or surpassing ambitious sales targets.
  • A remarkable talent for negotiation and relationship cultivation.
