The Academic Coordinator will be a proactive and adaptable part of a team whose goal is to assist online teachers to become familiar with the specific set-up of EF's online scheduling system and virtual classroom. In this role, you'll help educators navigate EF's online scheduling system and virtual classroom tools, ensuring a smooth onboarding and teaching experience. Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with academic and central services teams to develop onboarding
materials that guide new contractors through scheduling and virtual classroom tools
Create and maintain reference resources for instructors covering student
expectations, teaching tools, and classroom functionality
Contribute to a weekly instructor newsletter with updates on platform features and
classroom enhancements
Provide day-to-day support for instructor inquiries, including troubleshooting and
directing issues to appropriate team members
Analyze service-related data to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities for
operational improvements
Conduct proactive outreach via email and phone to communicate service updates and
relay client feedback
Organize and host optional engagement webinars for teachers focused on classroom
tools and best practices
Draft verification letters and other correspondence upon instructor request
Ensure instructor profiles meet platform compliance standards
Utilize tools such as Salesforce, Calendly, Outlook, Adobe Sign, Constant Contact, Sigma, and Microsoft Office
Essential Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in any field
Fluency in English (written and spoken)
Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
A flexible, hands-on attitude with the ability to adapt quickly and solve problems in a fast-growing environment
Preferred but not required:
Experience teaching English as a Second Language (ESL)
Familiarity with supporting remote teams or independent contractors
Background in contract management or customer service
