Working hours:

Monday - Friday 14:30 - 17:30 (slightly flexible depending on extra murals)

School holiday hours:

Same as above / Slightly Flexible


A family is looking for an ACADEMIC AU PAIR for their daughter

Area:

Melrose North

Children's Ages:

14 year old (Grade 8) - Girl (Very good performer at school, needs to manage stress and anxiety and planning better)

Working hours:

Monday - Friday 14:30 - 17:30 (slightly flexible depending on extra murals)

School holiday hours:

Same as above / Slightly Flexible

Duties:

Collect from school, take her to any extra murals, assist with homework and ensure she understands her work,General Curriculum Support in all prescribed Subjects, tutoring in subjects she is struggling with, providing academic support and routine, challenging her by quizzing in, preparing study notes, ensuring she is on top of studying and homework.

Special Requirements:

Female candidate, own vehicle and driver's license. She should be really passionate about working with kids. Extra bonus would be someone studying in the field, such as psychology or education (if you are studying towards this tertiary education, the higher end of the salary offered would be applicable)

Start Date and contract term:

23 February - permanent

Salary:

R10 000 - R12 000pm (Gross, before deductions) + SARS rates per km (R4.76)



All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:

Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.

Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.

Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.

Must have a clear criminal record

Must have a passion for children

Must have Matric

Must have a South African ID document.
