8 COLOUR 3 MACHINE OPERATOR
HIRT & CARTER DURBAN
CORE PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
To produce accurate, high quality print work in the time allocated and ensuring that machines are well maintained.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
- Precisely follow instructions on work tickets and accurately read and understand xe2x80x9c10-point checklistxe2x80x9d
- Responsible to ensure adherence to quality systems, processes and procedures
- Monitor, measure and report on production related performance
- Manage waste and spoilage
- Adherence to scheduled maintenance plan
- Adherence to housekeeping standards, SHE & OSH act requirements with a xe2x80x9cZERO INJURYxe2x80x9d culture compliance
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE:
- Matric qualification with at least 3-5 yearsxe2x80x99 experience in a similar role
- Trade test qualification
- Must have book mark, magazine and perfect binding knowledge
- Knowledge of various printing and finishing technologies
- Superior colour perception and colour management skills
