Job Description
A client of ours within the Financial Sector is looking for 6X Loan Field Officers to join their growing and dynamic team
Location
Johannesburg, North
Requirements:
- National Senior Certificate
- Qualification in Business, Finance or related field
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in fieldwork, sales, or microlending operations
- Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel extensively
Client Engagement and Outreach
- Identify and onboard potential borrowers within assigned areas
- Educate clients on loan products, repayment terms, and financial literacy
- Build trust and maintain long-term relationship with clients
- Conduct field-based assessments of loan applicants' business or households
- Verify documentation and assess creditworthiness
- Submit complete loan application for approval
- Track repayment schedules and follow up on late payments
- Conduct field visits to monitor loan utilization and business progress
- Report delinquent accounts and assist in recovery strategies
- Ensure adherence to lending policies and regulatory requirements (e.g. NCA, FICA)
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and loan performance
- Provide weekly reports on field activities and portfolio health
