Responsible for the transportation and handling of bales on the receiving floor to ensure that adequate production levels are always maintained. The forklift driver is expected to ensure that bales are neatly stacked and ready for the OM floor and Bin line. As well as any adhoc duties.

Requirements:



Grade 12 3 yrs warehousing experience Valid Forklift license Good physical conditions with excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities

Skills:



Technical ability to operate a machine Attention to detail Communication skills Teamwork Customer service Writing and arithmetic skills Ability to work independently Pressure resilience

Key functions:



Perform daily safety checks on forklift and adhere strictly to all safety regulations Ensure that the flow of bales to the OM and S&V lines are continuance and uninterrupted. Ensure that bales are being transported efficiently and effectively. Ensure lots are complete before they are loaded on the gravity feed. Responsible for Forklift Health and Safety Maintaining clean environment and organised working area * To perform any other ad hoc activities/duties/tasks as requested by his superior anywhere in the plant (BKB) premises.
